Family: assign speaking tasks

Where parents tap to assign speaking tasks and where kids complete them.

In Family space, parents set what a child should practice today. After completion, review under Progress → Speaking tasks.

Related: Speaking tasks, Open Family, Child accounts, Proxy view.

Before you start

  1. Sign in with the parent main account (not the child).
  2. Open Family space.
  3. Create a child account.
  4. Ideally allocate minutes so practice isn’t cut short.

If…

  • Child doesn’t see the task: Confirm child account login and that the task was published.
  • Can’t find Assign: Confirm you’re in Family with a child selected; the button is near member actions (often next to allocate minutes / confirm plan).
  • Session landed in Self practice: Enter via Speaking → Speaking tasks, not Self practice.
